Supervision for Counsellors
At Vale of Belvoir Counselling, I offer professional and supportive supervision for both trainee and qualified counsellors. My approach to supervision is person-centred, creating a reflective and collaborative environment where you can explore your practice openly, deepen your self-awareness, and continue developing your skills with confidence and integrity.
Supervision is a vital part of ethical and effective counselling work, providing a confidential space to review client work, celebrate progress, and thoughtfully explore challenges. I believe that supervision should be a nurturing, empowering relationship that helps you maintain high standards of practice while also attending to your own wellbeing and professional growth. I aim to foster a partnership where you feel safe to bring all aspects of your work — the successes, the uncertainties, and the difficult moments — without fear of judgment.
With experience working with both individuals and groups, I tailor supervision to meet your specific needs, whether you are looking for support with casework, ethical decision-making, theoretical development, or personal growth as a practitioner. My goal is to help you stay connected to your core values as a counsellor, strengthen your clinical judgment, and continue to grow in confidence and effectiveness.
I offer supervision in a warm, respectful, and encouraging setting, grounded in the belief that good supervision enhances not only the counsellor’s work but ultimately the wellbeing of their clients too.
