Individual Counselling for Adults
At Vale of Belvoir Counselling, I offer thoughtful and compassionate counselling for adults seeking support through life’s challenges, transitions, or periods of personal growth. Rooted in a person-centred approach, my work is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect — creating a space where you can feel truly heard, accepted, and understood.
Life can bring many pressures, whether from work, family, relationships, health, or internal struggles such as anxiety, low mood, loss, or low self-esteem. You may not always have the words to explain how you’re feeling, and that’s okay. My role is to support you in exploring your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, without judgment or agenda.
Person-centred counselling is built on the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Rather than giving advice or directing the session, I offer a warm and non-directive space where you can begin to make sense of your experiences and reconnect with your inner resources. Through this collaborative process, you may come to better understand yourself, build emotional resilience, and move towards the changes that feel right for you.
Whether you are facing a specific difficulty or simply want space to reflect, I provide a safe and confidential environment where your voice is valued and respected. My aim is to walk alongside you, helping you feel more empowered, more self-aware, and more at peace with who you are.
